ResponsibilitiesYour Role: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for acting as a site ambassador bridging the gap between management and employees. In this role, the HR Generalist will provide on-site HR support including the administration of general HR processes, employee relations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity and training and development
- Support employees and managers with human resources related tasks
- Onboard new hires by gathering employee documents, creating employee files, and ensuring they have all the tools to succeed on day one at the company
- Fostering an engaging employee environment to enhance retention
- Attends and participates in employee relations meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity and training and development
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred or a combination of experience and high school diploma
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate HR department
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) required
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
