Job Overview: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing human resource related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting/employment, employee benefits, performance review, compensation, onboarding, training, data reporting, employee relations, and policy implementation. Duties:
- Participates in employee relations including conducting investigations, determine and assess any liability, provide recommendations to managers, review documentation, and serve as witness during disciplinary sessions. Coach managers to decrease personnel problems.
- Assists in the organizational compliance with all human resource related laws.
- Assists in managing the applicant tracking system.
- Develop and conduct management training and/or obtain outside sources.
- Participates in the compensation program; participates in annual salary survey, monitors market data and provides recommendations to management when appropriate.
- Assists in benefits administration, including claims resolution and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Develop and administer Stay Interview process; ensures dates are established for stay interview administration, both for continuing and newly-hired employees.
- Assist in the administration of the workers' compensations program as needed.
- Assist in the administration of the performance appraisal program, as needed
- Assist in administration of the FMLA program. Maintain contact with staff during periods of absence.

Requirements Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, management, business, social work, or related field. HR certification or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- 1-3 years' experience in HR or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR or SRHM-CP preferred.
