About the Role:The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all human resource-related activities, providing guidance, assistance, and clarification regarding company policies, procedures, and documentation for multiple sites.Essential Job Responsibilities:? Manage all human resource-related activities, including employment, performance management, training and development, and compliance.? Ability to support 250+ employees working in different business groups and locations.? Conduct new hire orientations.? Prepare new hire, termination, and employee-related documents for documentation purposes.? Investigate, respond, and provide appropriate resolution to employee concerns and ethical complaints. Escalate complex employee relations issues to HR Manager.? Collaborate with management to provide guidance concerning coaching of employees? Able to work flexible work schedule to support teams working 1 st and 2 nd shifts and occasionally work in the Mt. Vernon KY facility.? Compile data and prepare reports and presentations.? Respond to and/or research employee questions dealing with benefits and policies/procedures.? Administer, track, and maintain human resource databases, including employee referrals, exit interviews, employee recognition programs, etc.? Coordinate company communication releases.? Assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures.? Preparing and submitting documents for the customer to process for Security Clearance. HR Generalist will validate forms and QA documents before being uploaded to customer database.? Ensure compliance with FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, HIPAA, and all federal and state regulations and laws.? Coordinate and plan employee meetings and trainings.? Maintain employee personnel files.? Provide input and lead projects relating to the development and maintenance of division-wide programs and practices.? Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and provide information to internal and external auditors.? Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.Qualifications:? Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.? 2-5 years of human resources experience.? Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.? Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.? Demonstrates interpersonal/relationship skills.? Detail-oriented.?
