HR Generalist - Direct Hire

LHH is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a client in Anaheim. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the HR Generalist will align with the HR strategy and business goals. This role encompasses a full range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, compliance with employment laws, performance management, policy implementation, training, and managing compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hiring process: job postings, resume reviews, interview arrangements, and new hire orientation and paperwork.
- Handle termination processes, including preparing necessary paperwork.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations to management.
- Maintain and update HR documents such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, and status change forms.
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend resolutions to maintain effective employer/employee relationships.
- Enter new hire data, update personnel changes, and assist employees with benefit program enrollment.
- Process background checks and employment verifications through E-Verify.
- Assist management with employee training.
- Advise managers on safety compliance and preventive actions.
- Frequently check and respond to emails.
- Maintain confidential files and safety records.
- Assist with front desk/reception tasks and manage office supplies as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and record retention guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex issues.
