Job Summary:This position is responsible for carrying out multiple human resources duties for Dairyland Laboratories. Under the supervision of the HR Manager, this person will support functions for HR, including but not limited to: recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits, employee time/attendance/leave, data entry, employee relations, safety, performance management, offboarding and employee record keeping.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain employee physical and electronic recordsUpdate and maintain all Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)Post job openings internally and externallyMaintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and correspond with applicantsSchedule and conduct phone and on-site interviewsCarry out personal, professional, and background reference checksAssemble packets and administer all onboarding for new hiresPerform daily timecard edits and track attendanceAdminister and track all employee leaves of absence requests, FMLAAssist with administering all tasks necessary for benefit enrollment of employeesUpdate and maintain benefit carrier portalsCarry out administrative tasks to support the company Health & Safety CommitteePrepare termination packets and coordinate all offboarding of employeesEnter COBRA noticesRespond to a variety of correspondences in a timely mannerMiscellaneous office administrative tasksMaintain a thorough understanding of company policies and proceduresAssist in monitoring department practices to ensure compliance with the documented proceduresAssist with providing all the locations with newly required posters or company policiesAssist in coordinating company eventsAttend meetings and events as neededOther duties as assigned by the ManagerCompetencies:Maintain a high level of confidentialityGood computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of and able to operate common office equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and listening skillsAbility to make decisionsGood understanding of all labor laws and regulationsExcellent multi-tasking abilityAbility to make presentations and present to groupsMust be accurate and detail-orientedGood organizational skillsMove around in an office environment and laboratory during the workdayExcellent time management skillsAbility to write reports, business correspondences, and produce accurate documentationEducation and/or Experience:Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or a minimum of 1 year HR experience, required#J-18808-Ljbffr
