Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in payroll and benefits administration, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional HR support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and at least five years of relevant HR experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:

  • Process and oversee accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.

Benefits Administration:

  • Coordinate and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and ERISA.

HR Operations:

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide support for employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Prepare and submit required reports related to payroll, benefits, and compliance.

General HR Support:

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition efforts as needed.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an HR role, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is preferred; however, candidates with proficiency in other payroll and HR software systems are encouraged to apply Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
