Position SummaryUnder general guidance, responsible for the successful execution of Talent & Culture practices and policies for assigned client groups. Including but not limitedto, employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training, employee engagement and benefits.
Essential Job Functions - Completes full cycle recruitment, including but not limited to, posting positions, interviewing and selection. Ensures onboarding and ongoing Talent & Culture administrative processes are completed timely and accurately.
- Investigates employee relations and workers' compensation issues in collaboration with Talent & Culture Management. Presents recommendations and ensures documentation is complete.
- Administers employee engagement programs
- Conducts employee on-boarding/orientation and off-boarding/exit interviews. Compiles reports, analyzes trends and makes training recommendations.
- Facilitates both formal and informal employee and management training programs. Ensures administrative processes are completed timely and accurately.
- Completes regulatory reporting, including but not limited to, EEO-1, OSHA 300/301, workers' compensation and unemployment. Ensures administrative processes are completed accurately and timely.
- Mentors and trains Talent & Culture Administrator and/or Administrative Support roles
- Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to Talent & Culture processes, procedures and services.
- Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Two (2) years progressive Human Resources experience
- Bilingual, fluent English and Spanish speaking
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related or equivalent experience
- SAP HR systems experience
- Food production environment experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to identify problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to build professional relationships with Talent & Culture and cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment.
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently
- Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude while maintaining confidentiality
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish based on assigned client group
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS - Open and flexible to working 2nd shift through early 3rd shift morning
