Job Description:

Our well established and locally owned national company is looking for a full-time Human Resources Generalist.

This will be a Hybrid role in out of our northern Buford area office in the Northeast Metro Atlanta Area. This will be a 4/1 Hybrid schedule in office M-TH with F as a WFH day. Ability to work toward a 3/2 Hybrid schedule.

Summary/Objective:

We are looking for an HR Generalist to handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties. Your role is

to act as the liaison between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt

resolution of all queries. You will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies,

processes and relevant documents.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executive
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Key Part of helping with Benefits enrollment
  • Adept at creating and pulling reports and analyzing data from the HRIS system
  • Ability to delegate tasks as needed within the team
  • Helps to resolve any issues through ticketing system (Spiceworks)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Very strong UKG experience
  • Hands on experience with HRIS or HRMS and HRIS tech support
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Basis knowledge of labor laws
  • Highly Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

Preferred Education:

  • BS Degree in Human Resources or Related Field
