This position is located in and dedicated to our Nursing Home. Our HR Generalists are responsible for the daily functions and tasks of the Human Resources Department including employee communication, personnel records management, pay processes and changes, onboarding and recruitment program tasks and benefits processing. Our HR Generalists are trusted advisors that address employee concerns, resolve conflicts and foster a positive work environment. They are focused on smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees and ensuring compliance all while providing an excellent employee experience.The Merrimack County Human Resources Department is composed of a team of skilled professionals committed to managing, supporting and developing the County's most important asset - our dedicated employees! In collaboration with the County Management Team, we focus on fostering a supportive and safe work environment which contributes to a positive workplace culture for all while ensuring the County is in compliance with employment and labor laws. The HR Team takes a collaborative, service oriented approach and is responsible for managing County Human Resource operations of the following processes; * Recruitment and Selection, * Onboarding and Training, * Compensation and Classification, * Benefits Administration, * Employee and Labor Relations, * Safety Committees & Wellness Program, * Performance Management, * HR related Policies and Procedures as approved the Board of Commissioners. See Job Description for Additional DetailsRequired Education & Experience Associate's Degree from a recognized college or technical institute with major study in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.Two years administrative work with computer usage required, or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
