The Human Resource Generalist I position is an entry-level position designed to create a career foundation for individuals seeking a career in Human Resources. The duties of a Generalist I will be to gain comprehensive knowledge and execution of the organization systems, policies, processes and procedures for areas of recruitment and selection, on- and off-boarding, benefits, leave, and compensation, within the context of State and Federal requirements.
