RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Ability to balance multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This strategically and recognizes when it's necessary to dig into details.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and referring complex matters to the appropriate staff when needed.
- Assist with employee relation issues.
- Conduct onboarding and training, including all new hire paperwork (I-9).
- Assist with open enrollment and benefits inquiries.
- Conduct Exit interviews as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Recommend best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assist with employee recognition programs.
- Ability to create and run payroll reports.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5+ years of well-rounded HR experience
- Working knowledge of ADP or similar payroll system
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be flexible, self-directed and able to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Advances computer skills, proficient in MS Office & Excel.
COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100,000
