Human Resources Generalist
A leader in the food industry based in Angola, New York, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist/Analyst to join their team.
This role, reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, is integral to a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented HR department. The ideal candidate will independently handle a full range of HR functions, including developing and delivering HR services, administering programs, and managing data for analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
Perform as an HR Generalist while managing assigned projects.
Compile and present technical data for reports and presentations, including actionable recommendations.
Respond effectively to technical HR inquiries and issues.
Develop and implement HR initiatives and solutions.
Key Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment.
Strong analytical skills: gather, research, and analyze complex data.
Proven problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws (e.g., EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).
Ability to develop and maintain relationships through excellent customer service.
Effective in written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (preferred).
Detail-oriented with the ability to focus on the bigger picture.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of HR experience in a generalist or analyst capacity.
