The Human Resource Generalist in this role will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of the HR department within a plant environment. The position involves managing employee relations, ensuring effective communication, and helping to foster a positive workplace culture. Specific responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining open lines of communication between staff and management. Ensuring a fair and respectful work environment through proper handling of grievances and employee feedback.Training & Development: Implementing and maintaining training programs that align with company policies, safety standards, and skill development. Coordinating employee orientations and ongoing development opportunities to ensure continuous growth and compliance.Policy & Procedure Implementation: Enforcing plant policies, procedures, and legal requirements in alignment with the company's broader HR practices. Ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to workplace guidelines regarding conduct, safety, and performance.Compliance: Assisting with audits and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to employment laws and workplace safety.Employee Engagement: Supporting initiatives aimed at improving employee morale, retention, and satisfaction. This may include organizing employee events, providing recognition programs, or gathering feedback on company culture.Administrative Support: Handling day-to-day HR administrative duties, including maintaining personnel records, assisting with recruitment efforts, and managing employee benefits inquiries.This position is essential in ensuring that HR functions run smoothly, fostering a positive work environment while also upholding company policies and legal requirements.
