Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, and Estero. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Assistant to join our Administration team. This position would report directly to the Human Resources Manager. Absolute discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information is required. Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Days.
Essential Functions:
* Participates in the recruitment effort by posting and maintaining open positions in the applicant tracking system. Supports the hiring supervisors by reviewing all applications, performing initial interviews, completing reference checks, processing background checks and provides reporting
* Performs all Human Resource Information System (HRIS) data entry. Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports as needed
* Responsible for the accurate scanning of all employee records into the electronic document system
* Manages the onboarding process of new hires through the HRIS system. Updates the online onboarding program as necessary
* Enters the performance appraisals each month and provides reporting to management staff
* Prepares and enters bi-weekly payroll for final approval
* Plans and organizes space and supplies for new hire orientation
* Responsible for the new employee and exit interview survey program and provides reporting to management
* Maintains uniform voucher program and monitors the online ordering process
* Monitors and updates the medical certification/licensing program for all staff. Provides monthly reporting to management to communicate any upcoming expirations
* Updates and monitors the online training system. Assigns required new hire and annual training to employees
* Assists in the planning and organization of all employee events and gift programs
* Acts as backup to reception and assists with the maintenance of our information email account
Position Requirements:
* Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience or training in recruitment, human resources, and payroll
* Associates degree preferred. A combination of education and job-specific work experience equivalent to a degree will be considered
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
* Prior experience working with a cloud-based HRIS system such as Paycor is a plus
* Prior experience working in the healthcare environment is helpful
