DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the manufacturing industry. The role is located in Cincinnati, Ohio United States. The HR Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Responsibilities:- Develop strategic HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals- Handle employee relations issues, providing conflict resolution when necessary- Manage negotiations with unions, resolving grievances and disputes- Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal HR regulations- Oversee the process of recruitment and selection to attract and retain top talent- Implement and manage an effective performance appraisal system for employee evaluation- Facilitate changes and manage the implementation of new HR practices within the organization- Oversee matters related to employee compensation, benefits, and training programs- Develop and promote initiatives for continuous learning within the organization- Maintain open lines of communication with all members of the organization.Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.- Proficiency in Employee Relations, Hiring Processes, and Union Contracts.- Demonstrable experience with Labor Employee Relations and Human Resources (HR) Administration.- Proven ability in Contract Negotiation and HR Compliance.- Ability to develop and implement effective HR Strategy and HR Policy.- Familiarity with Labor Law.- Experience in New Employee Orientation and Onboarding.- Extensive knowledge of Policies & Procedures relevant to Human Resources.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.- Ability to use HR software and digital tools effectively.- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics.- Capacity to make decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.- Knowledge of current employment legislation and regulations.- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
