Position Overview

My client is looking for a Senior HRIS Specialist to strategically manage and optimize their HRIS systems. This role will focus on leveraging technology to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the HRIS strategy to align with organizational goals.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of HRIS platforms.
  • Ensure HRIS supports key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, and compliance.

System Management

  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of HRIS systems.
  • Maintain data integrity, security, and privacy compliance.
  • Manage system integrations with other business applications and third-party vendors.

Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology.
  • Implement best practices for HR data management and reporting.
  • Lead projects to automate and enhance HR workflows.

Data Analytics and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to HR leadership and business partners.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements through accurate and timely data management.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the HRIS team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless HRIS operations.

Vendor Management

  • Oversee relationships with HRIS vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of HRIS management experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with HR analytics tools and project management software. Familiarity with systems like ADP, Workforce, Humanity, VidCruiter, and Google Workspace is beneficial.
  • Leadership and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience managing large-scale HRIS implementations and upgrades. Demonstrated strategic thinking, autonomy, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
