Alsum Farms & Produce Inc., a grower, packer, and shipper of potatoes & onions located in Friesland, WI is looking for a Human Resources Intern! Successful individuals in this type of position are dependable, hardworking, and work well with others. While there is not experience necessary, we do prefer a candidate pursuing a Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Agribusiness, or related degree. Training will be provided.

The goal of the Human Resources Internship is to provide the intern with valuable training and practical experience from our Human Resources Professionals in various HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and HR administration.

Job Details

Job Type: Seasonal May 2025 through August 2025

Job Schedule: Monday through Friday; 7:30am to 3:30pm

Work Location: Friesland, WI

• Enrolled in an advanced degree or certificate program in Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, or Agribusiness
• At least one year of education in a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Valid state motor vehicle license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
