Job Description:

Southlake Automation provides engineering automation solutions for manufactures. These manufacturers include automotive, chemical, consumer product, material handling and several others. We are seeking a full or part-time Human Resources Specialist who is interested in working with a technology company. Our employee base mostly consists of degreed engineers and assembly technicians. As a fast growing systems integrator there is plenty of room for advancement. As the HR Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our company's most valuable asset - our engineers. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions that contribute to the overall success and well-being of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Mange and execute our college recruiting program
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address staffing needs, skill gaps, and training opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
  • Support in strategic HR initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
  • Must have good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients
  • Exceptional data-entry accuracy
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office/Office365
  • At least 1 year of administrative or business assistant experience, or a similar organizational role
