  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 4+ years' experience managing HR professionals
  • Demonstrated proficiency with an HRIS
  • Experience in benefits program administration
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Strong understanding of state and federal employment related laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of an organization and to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
What this job is all about:As the Human Resources Manager, this role will oversee comprehensive employee compensation, benefits, payroll, and wellness programs, ensuring a positive work environment that boosts engagement and productivity. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to manage employee relations concerns, ensure compliance with company policies and plan for our future workforce needs.In this job, you'll do things like:
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals by providing direction, support, feedback, and mentorship to ensure their success through regular 1:1s, coaching, training, and development.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to manage employee relations cases from start to finish - conduct thorough investigations, effectively address concerns, resolve conflicts, and suggest disciplinary actions in alignment with our policies and culture in partnership with external and internal counsel.
  • Lead the design and delivery of compensation programs, policies, and projects across the organization in accordance with current company practices and ensure compensation structure stay current based on market data.
  • Manage the proper administration and implementation of the company's health and retirement benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, etc.) in accordance with policies and procedures while ensuring legal compliance
  • Provide ongoing direction and support to external benefit administration vendors, internal HR staff and other outside vendors and ensure efficient delivery of benefit services.
