Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Team up with the Plant Manager to craft innovative strategies that tackle employee-related challenges head-on. Together, you'll monitor absenteeism and turnover while championing positive morale and engagement initiatives.
  • Talent Champion: Recruit, onboard, and train top-tier talent, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into our vibrant company culture.
  • Union Negotiation Support: Take the lead in preparing for union negotiations, helping to foster a collaborative relationship that benefits both employees and management.
  • Employee Relations Leader: Be the go-to resource for conflict resolution, compliance investigations, and employee recognition programs that celebrate success and strengthen camaraderie.
  • Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain meticulous employee records and stay ahead of current laws and policies, ensuring our practices are always in line with regulations.
  • Quality Initiative Support: Collaborate on quality projects and initiatives, driving our company's mission forward and ensuring we consistently meet and exceed our goals.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
    • Minimum of 5 years HR Manager experience in a lean manufacturing/repair environment.
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Builds and effectively manages interpersonal relationships across all levels of the company
    • People oriented and results driven
