We are currently seeking a successful, experienced bilingual Human Resources ManagerThe HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resource department within ALTA Foods. This person will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, develop and retain a talented workforceKey Responsibilities:Recruitment & Staffing:
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote a positive work environment and enhance employee morale through effective communication and support.
Training & Development:
- Design and implement training programs to develop employee skills and promote career growth.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist in setting performance metrics and development plans.
Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure company policies are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct audits and implement procedures to minimize risk and maintain compliance.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer employee benefits programs and compensation structures.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive salary packages.
Workplace Safety:
- Collaborate with management to promote workplace safety and implement health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
