About the Company

Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Manager or Director HR in West LA. You would have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities in a 2-person HR department, working closely with the CFO and an HR assistant. With a focus on payroll, risk mitigation, and state laws compliance, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Real Estate company with 300+ employees. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

About the Role

Lead and manage the HR team to ensure efficient and effective operations. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives. Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and company policies. Analyze HR metrics and trends to make data-driven decisions and recommendations. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational development and culture initiatives.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
