Job Description:

This is a full-time, primarily remote, role for a Human Resources Manager at Grams Fitness in the NOVA area. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for HR management, including interviews, reference checks, compiling schedules, completing onboarding, managing dismissals and scheduling reviews. The HR manager will also be responsible for compiling payroll reports for submission, updating pay scales, and tracking and reporting on key metrics across our workforce. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is adept at handling multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance with employment labor laws and organizational policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

This will be a new position within our Company. We are set to double in size over the next 12 months and we are looking for a highly organized candidate that is passionate about growing with us. We need someone who is comfortable working with senior management to develop and streamline old processes into new systems. This also means that the list of duties may need to be modified over time.

Duties

  • Lead the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Develop and manage applicant tracking systems to streamline talent acquisition efforts.
  • Conduct data entry for employee records and maintain accurate HR databases.
  • Support onboarding processes by preparing orientation materials and conducting new hire orientations.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and assist in the development of training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and employment labor laws throughout HR practices.
  • Utilize social media management tools to enhance employer branding and attract potential candidates.
  • Provide support in talent management initiatives, including performance reviews and employee engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with HR software platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of employment labor laws and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition or training development is advantageous.
