Plus, you get to think about dogs all day!Who You AreAs HR Manager at our Allentown manufacturing facility you are responsible for overseeing all human resources activities and functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and development. This role ensures the effective management of human resources in line with company policies, labor laws, and industry best practices, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment in a manufacturing setting.Responsibilities:* Continue to develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates* Maintain HR databases and employee records in compliance with legal requirements.* Monitor HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement* Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns, complaints, or disputes* Resolve conflicts and mediate disputes between employees and management in a professional and fair manner* Promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement and morale* Provide guidance and support to supervisors in conducting regular employee performance reviews* Work with management to manage underperformance and implement corrective actions when necessary* Assess training needs and organize relevant learning and development opportunities for employees* Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies* Address issues related to worker's compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and disability accommodationsQualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field* HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production facility environment preferred* Experience with HR software and employee management systems
