Job Title: HR Manager

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/In-person

Reports to: President

Shift: Days

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 annually

Essential functions for this HR Manager role will include:

  • Recruiting and staffing of all hourly and salaried positions to include collaboration with local staffing firms and schools to recruit talent
  • Prepare offer letters, conduct pre-employment tasks and drive onboarding activities
  • Enter all new hire information into timekeeping software and payroll system
  • Coordinate and assist supervisors with employee relations and respond to all employee requests
  • Maintain all personnel, payroll & related files to meet all State, Federal & Company requirements
  • Maintain and administer all benefit and compensation programs, including disability and FMLA
  • Assist in accident investigations and process workers' compensation claims
  • Administer unemployment compensation claims and represent the company at hearings and investigations
  • Manage employee appraisals, corrective actions and exit interviews
  • Manage and coordinate employee engagement activities to include administration of retirement/anniversary event activities, coordinate company sponsored lunches and /or company events.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer the policies and procedures of the employee handbook

We're looking for skilled HR professionals with the following background profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience
  • Accounting/payroll experience is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
