Job Title: HR Manager
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/In-person
Reports to: President
Shift: Days
Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 annually

Essential functions for this HR Manager role will include:
- Recruiting and staffing of all hourly and salaried positions to include collaboration with local staffing firms and schools to recruit talent
- Prepare offer letters, conduct pre-employment tasks and drive onboarding activities
- Enter all new hire information into timekeeping software and payroll system
- Coordinate and assist supervisors with employee relations and respond to all employee requests
- Maintain all personnel, payroll & related files to meet all State, Federal & Company requirements
- Maintain and administer all benefit and compensation programs, including disability and FMLA
- Assist in accident investigations and process workers' compensation claims
- Administer unemployment compensation claims and represent the company at hearings and investigations
- Manage employee appraisals, corrective actions and exit interviews
- Manage and coordinate employee engagement activities to include administration of retirement/anniversary event activities, coordinate company sponsored lunches and /or company events.
- Develop, maintain, and administer the policies and procedures of the employee handbook
We're looking for skilled HR professionals with the following background profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience
- Accounting/payroll experience is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
