HR Manager (40088)

Our client is an organization in the Wausau area looking for an HR Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a leader. This company offers a collaborative team, company growth, and positive workplace culture. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position $110k - $130k.

The HR Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Updates and maintains critical HR documents, such as employee handbooks and job descriptions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
  • Provides guidance and support on complex and sensitive HR issues, such as handling FMLA, disability, or other leave situations, and ensuring proper documentation of disciplinary actions.
  • Manage day-to-day HR activities and employee interactions.
  • Provide leadership and support to the corporate and field HR teams.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal applicable laws.
  • Perform research and work on special projects as needed.

The HR Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors degree in human resource management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience, progressive experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to operate in a fair, unbiased, respectful, and confidential manner at all times.
