In this newly created Human Resources Manager position, you will play an important role in sustaining a supportive work environment where individuals can function at their highest potential in advancing our passion for a great work environment, outstanding patient care and preparing a workforce for the future.

At the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, listed below are just a few examples of how this role would help impact recruitment, productivity, retention and job satisfaction:

* Hiring the right people.

* Supporting staff members and managers so they can develop and reach their potential.

* Reinforcing with staff how what they do contributes to and makes a difference in delivering superior service and patient care.

* Recognizing and rewarding staff accomplishments.

* Assisting managers in holding staff accountable by providing context and rationale for human resources policies and procedures.

* Ensuring a safe work environment.

* Communicating information that impacts our workforce.

Education/ Experience

* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, plus 3-5 years of progressive work experience specifically in a fast-paced HR office. Healthcare environment preferred.

* Must have good business acumen with a strong knowledge of employment law

* HR certification will be required within one year of employment.

Computer Experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* Demonstrated skills in database maintenance and record keeping.

Required Skills

* Maintains a strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws, and current HR practices

* Must have strong verbal, writing, and technical skills

* Strong Analytical/Problem-solving abilities

* Strong consultative, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

* Role requires the ability to be collaborative, build relationships and use influencing skills.

* Demonstrated client service and/or support orientation

* Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

* Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills

* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

* Proactive approach to problem-solving and solution oriented

* Must demonstrate teamwork and the ability to partner with others to get things done

* Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees on all levels
