Human Resources Manager
Our client, a prestigious healthcare advisory firm located in downtown Boston, is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager to join their team! The individual in this role will support and partner with a team of HR professionals and be heavily involved in employee relations across the organization. Compensation: $100-130K*

Applicants must be able to work onsite in Boston 3 days per week and pass a background check to be eligible for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to establish metrics and best practices that support a strategic recruitment process
- Support recruiting and onboarding efforts including sourcing, scheduling interviews, establishing New Hire Orientation processes, and coordinating onboarding events as needed
- Create, update, and maintain accurate personnel records and human resources-related files including new hire paperwork, manager changes, promotions, and payroll changes
- Assist with administration of employee benefits plans including healthcare, life, disability, and other health and welfare benefits programs
- Supervise, manage, and direct a team of HR professionals
- Oversee the annual employee performance evaluation process
- Provide business support that ensures adherence to HR programs, initiatives, and best practices
- Respond to sensitive issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a confidential, tactful, neutral manner
- Serve as an internal consultant to managers and employees providing advice on a range of organizational issues
- Adhere to information security and privacy policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Train and direct managers and employees on the implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal adherence to relevant federal and state laws related (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, I9/e-Verify, etc.) and company compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and SPHR certifications strongly preferred
- 5-8+ years of well-rounded Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in a management/leadership position
- Experience and expertise should include payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and supervisor-manager interactions
- Familiarity with Massachusetts employment and union laws and Human Resources laws and regulations highly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll, ATS, and ERP systems required
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be an adept communicator with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to tactfully navigate employee relations/performance management issues
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
