Job Description:

At Nisivoccia, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our team. We're seeking a Manager of Human Resources to help us build a strong and dynamic HR department. This role will act as the primary recruiter for the Firm while also developing expertise across all areas of Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 3–10 years of experience in Human Resources, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This role requires a candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively across departments and provide strategic HR support.

Objectives of this Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive hiring strategy to build a diverse, skilled, and engaged workforce.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies, including employer branding, college recruiting, and alumni programs.
  • Manage the internship program to ensure it is a robust pipeline for entry-level talent.
  • Gain experience in all HR functions, with the goal of transitioning into the Director of HR role.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs across departments.
  • Source applicants using online channels such as LinkedIn, professional networks, and placement agencies.
  • Develop compelling job descriptions and interview questions aligned with role requirements.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process, including resume screening, phone interviews, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Plan and attend job fairs, career expos, and university recruitment events to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university career centers to strengthen the firm's internship pipeline.

Employee Onboarding and Development

  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement employee development and training programs.
  • Manage employee performance review processes and provide guidance to managers on best practices.
  • 30-60-90 day review

Benefits Administration and Compliance

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, including employee education and benefits selection.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee leave management, including FMLA, disability, and personal leave.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

General HR Support

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to support the execution of HR strategies and projects.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of progressive HR experience, including talent acquisition, benefits management, leave administration, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with social media, resume databases, professional networks, and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Paylocity).
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and internship program management.
  • Proven ability to design and execute effective training and development programs.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in managing open enrollment, benefits education, and leave administration processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification
  • Demonstrated experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience in building management, vendor coordination, or office safety programs.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
