MHD-ROCKLAND is a well-established company in the aviation industry with offices worldwide. Reporting to the HR Manager, this person will handle all HR functions for the companys branches the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Ontario, Canada (around 60 employees total).

Main Responsibilities:
- Foster employee engagement and address issues proactively.
- Work closely with management to maintain high employee retention and address performance issues.
- Recommend HR policies, programs and processes adapted to our various locations and ensure they are communicated and administered consistently.
- Put in place and execute strategies to attract qualified candidates and accompany hiring managers through the selection and hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding sessions and follow-up on employee integration.
- Coordinate the performance and salary review processes, provide guidance and recommendations to management and ensure best practices are in place.
- Administer benefits and educate employees on the plans available. Ensure the company has a competitive offering in all locations.
- Identify training needs and create a training offering that is consistent across all locations. Give soft-skills training and coordinate training sessions with outside providers.
- Ensure each location is compliant with local health & safety regulations and put in place prevention measures, as needed.
- Lead internal communications initiatives, write newsletters and/or facilitate meetings, as needed.
- Work to document all HR processes and make recommendations of process and system improvements, as needed.
- Maintain all HR administration, files and systems and ensure fluid communication with payroll.
- Work on special projects and perform all other duties relating to the position.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources Management;
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, other related degree or equivalent experience;
- CHRP designation is an asset;
- Excellent computer knowledge, including Excel, Word and HR Systems;
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English;
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership, compassion, good interpersonal relations, problem solving, resourcefulness, confidentiality and discretion, flexibility, analytical abilities, planning and judgment.
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel on a regular basis.
