Job Description:

Overview:

This role involves overseeing and coordinating Human Resources functions, policies, and procedures to support the organization's strategic goals and objectives. The position requires developing and maintaining programs to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment process, including selection and new hire orientations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Management in resolving employee-related inquiries and issues.
  • Advise employees on job-related concerns, policies, and procedures, including managing disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Approve bi-weekly payroll utilizing HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • Manage benefits programs, including leading Open Enrollment and assisting employees with benefit-related questions.
  • Coordinate programs and events to enhance employee morale, motivation, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with safety teams on Workers' Compensation and OSHA-related matters.
  • Prepare internal and external reports as needed and support audits related to HR functions.
  • Communicate important updates and information to employees to keep them well-informed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and employment legislation by participating in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Supervise HR team members when applicable and provide guidance in their roles.
  • Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
  • Take on other projects or tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) are desirable.
  • Approximately seven years of leadership experience in an HR role, ideally in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR systems.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Experience in coaching, developing, and managing teams.
  • Collaborative and cooperative, able to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Salary: $75k-95k + 20% Bonus
