About the Role
The HR and Office Manager is a dual-role position that combines responsibilities for managing all aspects of human resources while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing team member engagement, and maintaining operational excellence.
Human Resources (60-70%)
Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and offer letters.
- Facilitate onboarding experience to ensure new hires are set up for success.
- Immediate project need: to enhance our onboarding experience to create a more intuitive and consistent learning experience through the use of technology/ platform
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Execute company events, team-building activities, and meetings.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and team member handbook.
Team Development:
- Supporting the team through Quarterly Conversations (team member reviews) and performance improvement plans.
- Assisting the team in the utilization of various assessments to foster team growth and communication. This may include completing courses and running workshops with various departments and team members.
HR Reporting:
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce regular reports for leadership.
Office Management (30-40%)
Office Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and efficient work environment.
- Manage office supplies, landlord relationship and office needs, and service contracts.
Event Coordination:
- Prepare office for bi-monthly Onsite event this includes ordering supplies, preparing the room for attendees, printing name badges and supplies, ordering food, making dinner reservations etc.
Facilities Management:
- Ensure office facilities are well-maintained and comply with safety standards.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to leadership as needed.
- Manage correspondence, filing, and other clerical duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management and/or office management.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Skills
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in a small-to-medium-sized organization with a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and Initiative: Ability to lead projects and propose solutions proactively.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy in HR and administrative processes.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Pay range & benefits
$80,00 - $90,000/yr salary, plus a comprehensive benefits package
