Position Summary The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist functions as a point of contact for incoming new hires and transfers. The Specialist has a high level of service excellence, responding to internal and external customers and departments by assisting collecting onboarding documentation and providing clearance for hire. Responsible for timely and accurate processing of all onboarding transactions. Location: 55 W Gore St, Orlando, FL 32806 Hybrid after first 90 days Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Responsibilities Welcomes new hires via telephone and email and details all requirements needed for Onboarding. Works closely with Recruiter and future Team Members to collect onboarding documents. Processes transactions related to core human resources data related to personal information, employment, job information, performance management with defined timeframe. Administers and maintains Human Resources programs as assigned. Provides excellent, positive, customer service with all levels of the organization. Responds to inquiries by providing accurate information based upon knowledge of the appropriate Orlando Health policy language and intent, as well as applying knowledge of the appropriate state and federal laws. Responds to issues and concerns in a timely manner. Always maintains a caring and professional attitude. Assists customers in completing Orlando Health and Human Resource related forms and applications. Maintains a high level of confidentiality when researching and resolving customer concerns. Maintains accurate information in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Able to query, audit, and compile reports from the database as needed. Makes recommendations for process improvements to continuously improve overall efficiency and customer service. Escalates customer concerns when necessary to Manager and/or Director. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions Tracks and reports on trends and developments. Participates in working groups, councils, and committees. Participates in development of departmental goals and objectives. Continually seeks to improve overall function of department. Maintains the confidentiality of all Orlando Health information. Attends meetings/in-services and presents information in department and other meetings as requested. Assumes responsibility for ongoing professional development and continuing education. Exhibit excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapting to changing priorities and situations, and follow through on the completion of assignments by deadlines. Assists other HR functions and the departments that she/he supports on an as needed basis. Responsible for organizing, managing, and completing special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent. Experience Two (2) years' experience in Human Resources or administrative support role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, including intermediate to advanced Excel and Outlook skills. Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources. Must be familiar with Federal, State, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and human rights guidelines and laws.
