Position Title: HR Operations Specialist

Location: Remote (Must be available to come onsite in San Francisco, CA, once a month)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Pay Range: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Operations Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide critical operational support to the HR department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processes while fostering a positive employee experience. This is a remote position requiring occasional onsite presence in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, handling onboarding/offboarding processes, and updating HR systems.
  • Ensure all employee records and HR processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including audits and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting system upgrades or changes.
  • Support benefits enrollment, assist with employee inquiries, and resolve related issues in collaboration with benefits providers.
  • Assist in developing and refining HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Act as a resource for employees, addressing HR-related questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or related support roles.
  • Pharma industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in data entry projects and data management.
  • Experience with onboarding processes and submitting contract requests, CDAs, and POs
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
