Our client in manufacturing is seeking a full-time HR/Payroll Clerk to provide administrative support and handle diverse clerical, HR, and payroll duties.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding of new employees
- Process paperwork for new hourly personnel to corporate HR
- Maintain employee files and enter data into ADP payroll system
- Update employee status changes in personnel records
- Compile and prepare reports from personnel records
- Respond to inquiries and provide information from personnel files
- Coordinate with corporate HR for weekly payroll processing
- Assist with employee benefits administration
- Maintain site accident/injury reports
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 2 years payroll experience
- ADP Software experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish REQUIRED
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player with the ability to follow instructions
- Maintain confidentiality of information and communications
- Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
- Understanding of HR/Payroll practices and procedures, including state and federal laws
