Job Description:
  • Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in the US
  • Provide strategic direction for payroll systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency, particularly with Workday, ADP, and other regional platforms.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across all operational locations.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly while addressing employee inquiries with exceptional customer service.
  • Administer and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing upgrades, and driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
  • Oversee Employer of Record (EOR) situations to ensure compliance and streamlined operations.
  • Lead and mentor payroll team members to foster high performance and collaboration, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports to deliver actionable insights to senior management.
  • Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and adherence to internal controls for all payroll-related information.
  • Manage critical payroll processes such as calculations, payouts, and bonuses while meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to meet payroll needs, resolve issues, and provide detailed reports and analyses to drive decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with statutory and organizational standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset to adapt to changing business needs.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of payroll management experience, with a strong focus on US
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, ADP, SAP, Kronos, or similar systems.
  • 3–5 years in business analytics and financial reporting, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with complex problem-solving and employment contract management.

Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar credential preferred.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to meet critical deadlines, including during holidays.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaboration across various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and implement effective change management.
