Job Title: Human Resources Representative, Field Locations:Employee may report at any of the following offices, based on business needs:
  • Goodwill Airport Freeway Offices - 4200 Airport Freeway, Fort Worth, TX
  • Goodwill Campus Drive Offices - 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, TX
Work Hours: Exempt/Full Time, Monday Through Friday, Typical start time of 8 am, occasional work outside of normal business hours or on weekend depending on needs of the business.Benefits: Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, holidays, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and 401k General Job Duties: Recruiting and talent retention support as assigned: Correctly advise hiring managers on the Agency hiring policies and practices.Post job opportunities accurately, ensure they are approved timely, and conform with required wording to meet Agency and legal requirements.Answer Hiring Manager questions related to Recruiting and the UKG system.Supervisor can assign recruiting tasks such as resume reviewing and phone screens for Store Leadership openings and/or conducting stay interviews to support retention efforts. Implement effective recruiting strategies and recruitment outreach activities to continually address and improve hiring results in order to maintain a pool of quality candidates for open positions within the Agency.Seek out new community partners and resources to improve recruiting results, in accordance with current AAP goals.Track outreach efforts to maintain compliance with AAP Requirements. Hiring Events & Job Fairs: Attend Goodwill Hiring Events and external Job Fairs to increase networking and position placements.Track hiring event results and communicates them out to all stakeholders. Perform pre-employment processing, such as background checks and drug testing, on potential new hires, program participants, and internal employees per policy.Evaluate results and seek additional approval by Department Director or VP, as needed.Inform hiring manager and candidates of results.Schedule successful candidates for orientation.Refer the issuing of Adverse Action letters to the HR Administrator as needed. Properly navigate the accommodation process (candidate and/or employees), taking partners as needed, and ensuring expectations of confidentiality are upheld by all involved.Delivers in-person training to individuals and groups within assigned workgroup in order to ensure employees possess skills needed to achieve the Agency's initiatives and minimize turnover.This may include new hire orientation for the assigned territory.Collaborates with assigned workgroup and HR staff to create, design, present, and give feedback on training delivered.Must display proficiency in public speaking and discretion in advising employees on sensitive HR topics, often in group settings. Train Store Managers on HR topics such as employee relations, performance management, time management, and conflict resolution to contribute to the Managers professional development. Must display the ability to communicate effectively and evaluate progress. Travels as needed to conduct in-person trainings at various worksites. Acts as first point of contact within the assigned workgroup for receiving complaints related to current or former employees, ensuring complaints are clarified and documented.Coordinate and conduct investigations that are of a unique and/or complicated nature including but not limited to Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation under the direction and guidance of their HR supervisor. Employee Reprimands and Documentation:Receives, reviews, and works with managers to revise as needed written reprimands, coachings, and required backup documentation so they meet Agency standards and receive HR approval before they are administered to the employee by their supervisor. Ensures fully executed documents are retained in HR records and/or Employee files as required by Goodwill, Federal, and State Agencies. Maintains a variety of spreadsheets and files related to compliance and HR functions that document processes required per policy and procedure. Drives the Agency van for HR business needs. Acts as backup to other HR positions and Functions including but not limited to E-Verify, Texas Workforce Commission unemployment claims and hearings.Assist in the coordination of social events, community resources and outreach, and related morale enhancing activities which also assist in creating greater collaborations between departments and programs. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of prior Human Resource-related experience is required.Master's Degree in HR can be accepted in lieu of experience.College degree in related field highly preferred.Must hold PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification or obtain one within 2 years of starting the position.Excellent organizational, communication, critical thinking, customer service, public speaking, and employee relations skills.
