DescriptionHanover Foods is seeking a talented Human Resources Representative to support our talent, and be part of our family. We're looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead our HR Team into the new year! This person will guide our employees through the company's policies, processes, and work requirements as well as manage, administer and coordinate the Personnel functions for our Centre Hall plant. The duties of this job include but are not limited to:
- Recruiting and hiring of employees, hourly payroll,
- Workers compensation,
- Unemployment
- OSHA compliance and training
- FMLA and STD management
- Affirmative Action
- And other duties as assigned
RequirementsQualified applicants for this role will have:
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources/Personnel or related field
- Thorough knowledge of personnel administration including payroll
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Power Point
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined requiring little or no supervision
- Possess excellent organization skills
- Exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain extreme confidentiality
