Seeking a Human Resources Representative in Lenox, IA!! Bilingual in English & Spanish
Responsibilities - Keep all HR files up to date and compliant.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, and assisting visitors.
- Administer benefits including leave of absence, Short Term Disability meetings, FMLA administration, and handling employee questions.
- Assist with recruitment processes such as posting job openings, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews.
- Meet with managers and supervisors to develop specific recruiting plans and determine staffing needs.
- Process job requisitions and manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Use traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Implement advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates, coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing, make hiring recommendations, and deliver employment offers.
- Arrange travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
- Handle employee off-boarding including paperwork completion for terminations and exit interviews.
- Support compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Create new hire files.
- Interpret and translate written company communications and documents verbally.
- Assist employees with questions, time off requests, badge issues, and time clock entries.
- Assist with benefit enrollment annually and for new hires within 30 days of employment.
- Update and maintain personnel records with data entry on employee-related changes such as new hires, address changes, position changes, salary changes, and department transfers.
- Plan special events such as Wellness Team and employee relations events.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to quality work practices, follow all GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is maintained.
- Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality to management.
Skills & Qualifications - Bilingual in English & Spanish.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Human Resources or People Operations role, ideally in a generalist capacity.
Environment The position is onsite, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
