Job Description:
  • Works in collaboration with the Employment Manager to support the organization's recruitment and retention efforts and processes.
  • Answers and responds to telephone inquiries from applicants regarding employment opportunities, assistance with the application process, application status updates, resetting online passwords, scheduling and rescheduling interviews/appointments, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating management and applicant availability to schedule appointments for interviews
  • Greets and checks-in applicants upon their arrival for interviews.
  • Assists potential new hires with the acceptance of job offers and completion of all required on-boarding forms.
  • Conducts new hire processing and assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists employees in obtaining replacement employee ID badges and photo IDs.
  • Provides support to other members of the Human Resources team and their respective areas of expertise, while cross training in these areas.
  • Assists with special projects included but not limited to participation in training classes, preparing for employee or fundraising events, etc.
  • Administrative duties that include: taking/responding to calls, making copies, preparing new hire packets, preparing sign in sheets, filing, etc.
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • College degree or currently enrolled in college courses, pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience, strongly preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills required, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Analytical thinker, strong sense of leadership, ability to think quickly on your feet, and make sound decisions.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Bilingual, helpful but not required.
