HUMAN RESOURCES & SAFETY ADVISOR (U.S. DISTRIBUTION CENTERS)

We are looking for a Human Resources & Safety Advisor who will report to the Human Resources Manager, and who'll be tasked with providing support and guidance to managers and employees on all human resources-related matters within our U.S. distribution centers. As part of your role, you'll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You'll be a trusted advisor to the U.S. distribution management team.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

* Recruit and Hire: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and select candidates for open positions. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required paperwork and processes are completed.

* Build Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns.

* Health & Safety: Conduct risk assessments and investigate all accidents and near misses. Provide recommendations for corrective actions and facilitate compliance with occupational health & safety (OHS) guidelines. Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees while fostering a safety-conscious culture. Report EHS data and compliance documentation to regulatory agencies.

* Train and Develop: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee development and performance improvement.

* Administer Compensation and Benefits: Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits programs including salary reviews, benefits enrollment, and leave of absence management.

* Carry Out Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Manage employee records and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

TRAVEL: This position requires travel to our Morrow, Georgia distribution center once a quarter.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

* 4 plus years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or similar role

* 2 plus years of experience leading Health & Safety compliance in a distribution, manufacturing or similar environment

* Knowledge of federal and state labor laws

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.

* Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

* Ability to multi-task and collaborate with both employees as well as management
