Job Summary This position performs professional level human resource services and consultation in the areas of labor relations, compensation, new hire orientation, total rewards, HRIS, and training and development for Pine Technical and Community College (PTCC). This position will monitor Human Resources processes and procedures so that the requirements of all personnel rules, regulations, laws, and collective bargaining agreements are met. This position will serve as the Designated Departmental Insurance Representative (DDIR) as well as the HR Service Center liaison. The incumbent will access confidential data as defined by Minnesota State Statute 13.37 and use this information to provide reports and advice to the Chief Human Resources Officer, as well as other leadership positions within the college.
Minimum Qualifications - Three years of progressive professional human resources work experience or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability sufficient to evaluate complex information, research answers to problems and make decisions or recommendations.
- Ability to build, adapt and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders with a dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Organizational and time management skills sufficient to develop and complete projects meeting objectives and within deadline.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and working with confidential information.
- Commitment to share the college's interest in supporting diverse cultures and populations.
