Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the NAVAL AIR SYSTMES COMMAND of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will brief senior leaders on the impacts of changes in human resources law and policy. You will classify position descriptions for an organization. You will coordinate with multiple parties (e.g., multiple commands, agencies, human resources offices) to resolve human resources issues. You will respond in writing to employee, applicant, manager inquiries. You will assist management with planning and implementing reorganizations. You will provide advice and assistance on desk audits and classification appeal procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to perform highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth assignments used within HR functions; 2) Communicate factual and procedural HR information clearly both orally and in writing; 3) Gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions regarding HR processes. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must have a general knowledge of the federal HR classification and compensation processes in order to understand the complexities of this work; 2) Skilled in conducting research and communicating results orally and in writing; 3) Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and practices to provide advice and guidance to officials, supervisors, and employees on a variety of HR functions; 4) Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; 5) Experience planning and organizing work, and communicating factual and procedural HR information clearly, verbally, and in writing.
