Job Description:
The mission of the Antitrust Division is to promote competition by enforcing the antitrust laws to protect economic freedom and opportunity on behalf of the American people. The Antitrust Division has an opening for a Human Resource Specialist to join its dedicated team and gain invaluable experience working in the public interest to protect the competitive process. To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to this position being filled. This experience must be identified in your resume. Examples of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level include:Experience with performing staffing and recruitment placement functions under Delegated Examining, Merit Promotion, and other hiring authorities and providing advice on the processing of a wide range of personnel actions to include accessions, promotions, reassignments, realignments, details, transfers, adverse actions, awards and resignations;Experience with utilizing various HR related automated software programs (i.e. USA Staffing, National Finance Center (NFC), etc.) to gather and evaluate data;Experience with administering guidance to management and employees on various HR related topics (i.e., recruitment, staffing placement, and classification). To qualify for this position at the GS-0201-13 level, your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-0201-12 level. Specialized experience is experience obtained in the Federal service or private sector that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to this position being filled. This experience must be identified in your resume. Examples of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level include:Experience with performing staffing and recruitment placement functions under Delegated Examining, Merit Promotion, and other hiring authorities; providing advice on the processing of a wide range of personnel actions; applying knowledge of Federal human resources (HR) functions and processes in areas such as recruitment, staffing placement, classification, and position management;Experience in presenting and preparing content to a variety of audiences in Federal Human Resources (HR) Management;Experience with utilizing various HR related automated software programs (i.e. USA Staffing, National Finance Center (NFC), etc.) to gather and evaluate data;Experience researching, analyzing and applying Federal human resources (HR) law, rule, regulation and policy and ability to manage work and projects in delivery of HR services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
