Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Senior Specialist to join our dynamic human resources team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth HR operations. If you are fluent in both English and another language (such as Spanish) have a passion for employee relations, possess a deep understanding of benefits administration, and are analytical this is the place for you! Responsibilities Include:

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and brokers to ensure accurate and timely benefits administration.

Database Management:

  • Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Generate reports and analyze data related to employee demographics, turnover, and other HR metrics.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.

Compliance:

  • Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.

Recruitment and Onboarding Support:

  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and interviewing when needed
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes when needed

Support in other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and database management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
