We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a People and Culture Specialist (Human Resources) position to join the team in our Boston and Braintree office 2-3x a week. Ability to travel to the 2 additional local offices in Massachusetts as needed. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create an extraordinary employee experience for our MA offices team members by serving as a trusted business partner to ensure HR strategies are aligned to support the business strategies and objectives.
- Establish thorough understanding of the business, build, and expand relationships with client leadership teams, and create close partnerships across P&C, and Centers of Expertise (COEs).
- Build strong relationships with clients to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness and understanding of the employee experience.
- Bring forth to the COEs the voice of the MA offices team members and partner with the COEs to bring solutions.
- Provide end-to-end onboarding and offboarding support to include facilitating New Employee Orientation and conducting exit interviews.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive and implement the recruiting strategy in the business; participate in interviews; identify interviewing team in the MA Offices.
- Partner with Talent Management Process COE on various programs and initiatives and implement for the MA offices team members.
- Partner with Learning & Development on various entry and intern orientation programs as the program manager.
- Assist P&C Manager with maintaining and managing MA Office's headcount, workforce and office budgets for both the campus recruiting program and experienced hiring.
- Responsible for assisting the P&C Manager with administering the compensation program, under guidance from the Total Rewards COE, obtaining appropriate review and approvals, while meeting firm deadlines.
- Lead and coordinate the annual performance review cycle and round table discussions, including training employees on process and timeline.
- The People & Culture Specialist will provide coaching and guidance regarding HR in areas such as policy and procedure while developing trusting relationships with leadership and employees within their assigned client groups.
- Provide input on local wellbeing initiatives and help to coordinate local activities.
- Contribute to projects and process improvements as needed. YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field required, PHR/SHRM-CP highly preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR generalist experience with progressive experience; professional services industry experience preferred.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with leadership and employees
- Ability to effectively manage change, being flexible and adaptable as required by the business
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability handle and document sensitive situations.
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge
