Learn more at www.fhsdschools.org/about.Duties and Responsibilities* Process certified job offers and onboard new educators* Prepare and faciliate weekly onboarding meeting with new educators during hiring season* Calcuate salary and stipends for employees* Assist educators with certification requirments working with Universities and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)* Support and process salary changes for employee with additional education according to District policy* Enter, monitor, and ensure accurate data in the HRIS and financial software systems* Generate certified educator and administrator contracts according to District policies and MO state statutes* Supervise and manage all extra-duty assignments, contracts, and pay assignments* Support the Subsitute Specialist as neededQualifications* Education:* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources of related field preferred* SHRM or other HR ceritication desired* Experience:* Prior HR experience, 1-3 years preferred* Knowledge of public school district operations is advantageous* Skills:* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite* Strong proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Software* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities* Effective written and verbal communication skills* Knowledge and Abilities:* Familiarity with HR practices, employment regulations, and confidentiality standards* Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsFHSD offers a comprehensive employer-paid benefits package, including:* Medical, dental, and vision plans* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)* District-paid basic life insurance ($75,000)* District-paid Short-Term Disability* Paid holidays, sick and vacation time* Membership in the Missouri Public Edcuation Retirement System (PEERS)Optional family coverage, long-term disability, and additional life insuranceHiring Timeline* Anticipated initial screening interview date for selected candidates - January 15, 2025* Anticipated department interview for selected candidates - January 17, 2025* Anticipated Board recommendation - January 23, 2025* Anticipated start date: January 27, 2025We look forward to considering you and potentially welcoming you to the FHSD team!
