Position Overview:

The HR Specialist – Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting processes for both manufacturing and office roles, collaborating with hiring managers to meet workforce needs. This individual will also oversee job description creation and contribute to various HR processes. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of recruiting experience, including a background in industrial manufacturing, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for manufacturing and office roles.
  • Collaborate to improve onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Develop and track hiring metrics, including 90-day evaluations and exit interviews.
  • Job Descriptions & Workforce Planning:

  • Collaborate with managers to create and update job descriptions that align with organizational needs.
  • Support workforce planning efforts by understanding business goals and staffing needs.
  • Employee Records & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Assist with audits and reporting requirements for regulatory authorities, including the Department of Labor.
  • Community & Brand Building:

  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand through networking, social media, and engagement with industry groups.
  • Serve as a representative of the organization to foster relationships with local and regional talent pools.
  • HR Support & Development:

  • Support the HR Manager in executing HR initiatives and projects.
  • Provide input on best practices in employment law, recruitment strategies, and employee relations.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Required Qualifications:

    Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.

    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

    Experience creating and maintaining job descriptions.

    Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

    Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    Bilingual (English and Spanish).
