They play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting organizational goals.An internship in HR offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, develop skills in communication and problem-solving, and understand the strategic impact of HR on a business. It's an excellent chance to learn about employee management and contribute to creating a productive workplace.Please note, this is a hybrid position, therefore, applicants must be within commuting distance of our location in Branchville, NJ.Job Responsibilities* Works at part of the Shared Services team to provide support for Human Resources and employees with a focus on delivering a superior Employee Experience (EX). Provides administrative and technical support to all areas within Human Resources.* Assists in answering a wide range of employee questions in a timely manner enhancing the overall employee experience and escalating, as necessary. Ensures adherence to defined service levels.Qualifications* Must be a current college student to qualify.* Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.* Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.* Must be enthusiastic, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.* Must possess ability to understand departmental operations and procedures.* College credit can be earned depending on your institution's requirements.Interns are paid hourly, and compensation starts at $19.00 per hour.Selective is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
