Position Overview:
The Intersect Group is hiring for a Human Resources Support Specialist for a leading manufacturing company located in Greenville, SC. This is a contract position, with a set tenure of up to 3 years. This position requires 5 days a week on site, and mostly be working from the hours of 8:00 to 5:00 EST.
This position has a few responsibilities outside of normal working hours. Candidates must be flexible to work between the hours of 6:00 AM EST to 6:00 PM EST as needed. Occasionally, this person will be covering a new hire orientation that begins at 5:30 PM EST. There are also onsite hours on Wednesday mornings starting at 6:00 am, which this person will need to cover occasionally as well.
Position Responsibilities:
- This team oversees and manages the HR service center, which fields all internal employee HR-related inquiries. Candidates will be working in a service center/call center-type environment, sitting in the office at their desk with a headset.
- Respond accurately and timely to associate questions and inquiries about associate programs, human resource policies, and procedures
- Interacts with associates in person and via telephone, email, and electronic transmissions to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of HR transactions
- Inputs incoming questions and details (topics, outcomes) into a case management software system to be used to track the service center usage and areas that need additional information published within the client
- Routes call to appropriate staff and/or subject matter experts if the question cannot be closed by the HR Service Center.
- Provides and Coordinates Administrative support for Various HR Operations
- Learn and Support Various HR-Related Systems
- Input various data into SAP
Required Skills & Experience:
- Required Education: BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or other closely applicable field of study or 4+ years of work experience in a Human Resources role.
- Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
- 2+ Years of experience with using and learning various computer software and systems
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Previous Experience dealing with highly emotional/difficult situations
- Proven Experience in a call center environment- must be able to speak on the phone
- Customer Service Oriented, must be driven to help others
- Previous Experience Managing confidential data
- Bilingual: Spanish/English
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous Experience/Knowledge working with SAP is highly preferred
- Previous Experience/Knowledge working with HR Processes/Policies
